MO Income Tax Reformers,

Please help us track our state senators like the scorecard that rates our federal legislators on the national website at (www.FairTax.org).  Here's how you can help:

  1. Go to www.congress.org and use the zip code box to find your MO State Senator's phone number (not your US Senator).  In some cases it may give you two or more potential senators for your zip code.  In that case, you can use another box a little lower on that page to input your full address so it can ID your Senator. Once you locate your state senator, click on his/her name to go to his/her page and select the CONTACT tab to get his/her contact information.
  2. Next, call your senator's office and ask them if they have taken a position on supporting the MO Tax Reform Bill (SJR-29).  Once they tell you their position, then thank them if they are for it, or tell them why you believe income tax replacement will lead to economic growth in MO and encourage them to support the bill.  Remember we are still in the EDUCATION phase of this legislation.
  3. When you have concluded your call, please send us an email telling me your senator's name, district #, and if they are For, Against, or Undecided about SJR-29 for Missouri.
Your senator's response will be an immense help to us in determining how and where to allocate our resources when our bill comes up for a vote.  Even if your senator is not on board yet, just hearing from you will remind him or her that they need to be studying this plan and we know that will improve our chances of its passage.
